"Dry" feeling in prefolds?

Does fleece liners allow for a dry feeling? We use prefolds (mostly) and BG 3.0's and I would like to find a way for R to feel dryer when he's sleeping (he doesn't soak through his prefolds or leak or anything... I'm just thinking he wakes up because of "wetness"). I started adding a microfiber doubler in his overnight prefold, it seems to help a little, but doesn't wick away the moisture.

Any suggestions?

  • Do not do not do NOT put microfiber next to your baby's skin.  It will suck the moisture out and result in irritation.  MicroFLEECE is fine and will keep your baby's bottom dry. Just get some at the craft store and cut to size.  Done!

    P.S. I love your baby's name.

Ditto this! No MF against the skin. Fleece will help give a stay dry feel though.

Thank you so much, I had no idea! And thank you- again- we were going for something that fit with his Polish last name, hehe.
