Do you tell DH when you are close to "O"?

I know, I am just in a questioning mood tonight. OK, so, if my cycle doesn't deviate, I will probably ovulate next weekend. I plan to BD every day for the 4-5 days around ovulation (if not every other day) but am not sure I want to specifically tell DH about the big day. He obviously knows that we are TTC but I am pretty sure he is relatively clueless about my cycle, fertility and I think I am just going to move ahead with the BDing without focusing much on TTC. Just throwing it out there to see what everyone else has done.

I do, yes. He prefers to know, and we're pretty open about everything relating to TTc anyway.

No, I don't tell DH anything about my cycle. He usually doesn't ask questions when I birng up having sex

I haven't fill DH in on all the technical stuff, he just knows that when I say we need to have sex, we need to have sex. lol.

Yes, I tell him. We're not good at having sex during the week because we're tired, but if I tell him we need to, he'll oblige. I try to be discreet, but if he just doesn't cooperate, I tell him I need his swimmers.

I don't come right out and say that I am close to O, but he pretty much figures it out when I am asking him to BD several days in a row. I think if I make a big deal about it being the fertile window - it adds extra pressure which DH doesn't need.

I tell my husband pretty much everything TTC related. He likes to know, and I don't want to keep it a secret we both really want a baby so it's fun to both know what's going on.

I don't come right out and say "I'm ovulating!" but I think he gets the idea after I initiate sex for several days in a row. It's pretty much the only time I do that, lol.

I tell mine that the window is starting or we have to have sex or something like that. Or even it I didn't say anything, he would know because we normally do not have sex every other day.

Well, I told him what I learned about calculating when O was after AF according to FF...so thats all I need to have done. I'm with a few of you others, he doesn't need the added pressure- I can handle that! Wink

He has always enjoyed fake practicing, he likes it just as much now too!

No, I don't. Only because when we first started TTC my DH made it clear that he wasn't interested in knowing every detail about TTC. I think he probably realizes that I probably am, but he doesn't ask/talk about it.

He knows. I try not to make a big deal out of it, but I feel he should know and be involved, so I keep him updated. He seems interested in it when I tell him, too, so I think he likes being involved, knowing where I am in my cycle, and knowing what's possible and what's not.

I tell him because we have opposite work schedules. So one of us literally has to wake up the other one or it wouldn't happen during the week!

I tell him. We have a 2 year old and don't usually have sex 4 nights in a row on a regular basis. Besides, he is a grown man with one child already- he can handle it.

He reads my OPKs (when he's home...) he always knows exactly what tests I'm taking and when. It took a couple of months for him to get used to the idea... and he was a little anxious at first though. It really depends on your husband.

Try telling him... if you notice a bit of "performance anxiety"... don't tell him again for a few months.

Yes, I tell him. He takes it as a green light to pester me for sex. I'm also in a fertility-related clinical study, and as a scientist he's interested in everything I do for it.

He knows the general week that we need to increase out BDing. But I don't come out and specifically tell him, he told me it adds pressure, which doesn't always have a positive result! I think he gets the point though when I am either naked or in lingerie when he gets home from work!
