Hi, I recently became a vegetarian after reading The Kind Life. I am TTC baby #2, and am concerned about getting the reight nutrition because Im not real sure what to eat. Can anyone recomend a really good cook book for some one who doesnt really know how to cook vegetables. Thanks
Re: can anyone recomend a good vegetarian cookbook
Well, I can recommend a good website! https://www.101cookbooks.com/
I also have some good vegetarian (but I also have meat too) meals on my blog: https://olivetheingredients.blogspot.com/
Also, Skinny ***--not sure which book has recipes, but they sounded good--and vegetarian!
There is a great Cooking Light compilation vegetarian cookbook. For most vegetarians, the foremost concern is a lack of iron, but your prenatal should have an iron supplement. You might just want to check and see if you need additional iron.
I also love allrecipes.com.
Eat as healthy as you can but remember that the nutrients go to baby first, then you, so if you're not getting enough of something, you're probably only hurting yourself, not baby.
Oh that looks like the one for me, thanks
