hey ladies! I am having a prince themed party with dark blue, baby blue, and yellow as my colors and looking for a cute andinexpensive favor.. I found these and thought of changing the ribbon around the box to be blue/yellow? But I have no green or frogs incorporated into the party, do you think it's odd to give these as a favor?
have you tried oriental trading company? I got a ton of great favors there that older kids would play with but also baby safe and also bought candy. I was thinking something like this
I think those favors are adorable but I don't think that kids or parents have any use for a frog candle. I do like the frog idea though. Maybe a cookie shaped as a frog or crown? Or maybe a cheap book about prince/ fairy tales for the kids?
How about something edible or useful? I hate favors that are cute but totally useless and I often end up throwing them out. Chocolates, a cookie, coloring books, etc.
i am doing a princess theme---i am getting cute enchanted carriage boxes, and filling them with mini tiara sugar cookies. you could totally do something more "manly" like that, though!
I went to party city and bought the favor bags there, i filled up with candy and snacks, (rice crispy treat, fruit roll up, gummy bears, mini pretzel bag), i also included a mini play-doh or a mini coloring book with crayons! they look really cool! it did cost me about 1.50 per bag (including all treats)..made about 50 of them!
You can do a sugar cookie shaped into a crown for the prince theme!
I like this idea. I kinda think favors are silly, especially for such young kiddos, so I wouldn't do anything that couldn't be useful (maybe like a board book or coloring book) or eaten. As a party guest, I'm likely to toss any usless, trinkety thing.
We are having DS' party in a Chinese restaurant that we love, so the favors are going to be mini Chinese takeout boxes full of candy. Who doesn't love candy??!! (FYI it will be mostly adults.)
Re: favors for 1st bday, wdyt?

I just typed in a search "fog" and a lot of cute frog stuff and candy came up.
I personally wouldn't get those candle favors. They look too "adult" for a baby's 1st birthday
