When will my hair stop falling out?

Everyone said that during pregancy my hair would get super thick - that didn't happen.... my hair fell out the whole time! And since DS was born it's just gotten worse - it seems like it's gotten even worse in the last month or two... When does it end?!?

Ugh. That sucks.

I never lost hair during pregnancy... but when I hit about 4 mos pp it started falling out in clumps. Soooo gross. Used to drive DH bsc.

It lasted about 4 months. I hope it's over for you soon!

Mine lasted 3 months. If it continues, you might want to have you doc check your thyroid levels. Low thyroid = major hair loss. Meds make all right in the world.

I HATED this in the aftermath of delivery. It really bothered me when it was at its worst. It started when B was probably 3-4 months, and it seemed like it lasted forever, but was probably over with by 8 or 9 months PP. My hair never got really thick during pregnancy either, but I definitely notice a difference this pregnancy. I hope it ends for you soon!

Are you taking your vitamins? If so and still having this problem you can take a supplement for hair skin and nails. I know one that works really good. Let me know if you are interested in more details. GL!

Thanks ladies! I'm still taking prenatals, and had my thyroid checked about 2 months ago... So it must be normal PP stuff. I think it's only been clumps for the past couple months - so hopefully it'll be over soon
