PT during the day but putting a diaper on at night...

Has anyone tried this method?  Potty training during the day but then putting a diaper on at night?  At least, at first...

I haven't started PT yet...just getting some opinions/advise.

    We still diaper at naps and at night and she hasn't had confusion with it. My DD is a camel and won't be sleep time trained for a while.

    Nighttime dryness and daytime dryness are two totally different things- it's more common for a kid to be unable to hold it at night past the age of 4 than it is for them to be dry all night. It's a physiological thing, so I don't see the need to push it.

    Based on that, I couldn't care less if DD wears diapers at night. She's fully dry during the day but still wears (and needs) a diaper at night. She's had no issues with confusion during the day.
