Jogging with baby on your back?

So a few years ago, I saw this amazing North Face ad of this woman trail running with a toddler on her back.

Was this just a crazy ad or has anyone ever successfully run with their child on their back instead of in a jogger?

I believe that same ad campaign showed her toddler choosing between mom dragging a tire or the jogging backpack for her run.

I'm not training for Badwater and I never expect to win Western States, so running with DS in jogger up a hill is way more than enough for me!

I'm lucky enough to keep myself in one peice trail running, let alone with my baby strapped on my back! That would be a disaster!

I'm a huge babywearer and running is one of the few things I wouldn't do with kiddo on my back.

I'm going with crazy ad ;-) There's another I've seen a few times that show a woman rock climbing wearing her kiddo - I think they are just trying to make a point ;-)
