I am 15 weeks pregnant and I still look the same as I did when I found out I was pregnant. No belly, no gained weight - even lost around 5 lbs(around 137lbs).
I was wondering if its the same for other future mommies out there? My sister is in her 17th week and has a big belly and even feels the baby all around.
I just want to know if this is normal. All my ultrasounds and studies have turned out good, baby is healthy but still no belly.
Re: How big should I be?
Totally normal. With DS I totally didn't look pregnant until about 28-30 weeks. I came back to school after the summer at 27 weeks and everyone looked at me and said, "you look...the same..." LOL!
This time I popped out at about 15 weeks. And I REALLY popped out a couple weeks ago. I'm ginormous. What a change from last time. Each pregnancy is different.
Every pregnancy is different, even woman to woman. 15 weeks is still kind of early to be showing much b/c of where your ute is still.
I was exactly the same as you at 15 weeks. No belly, no weight gain (well, maybe a pound or possibly two), totally normal. I just popped a couple days ago at 17.5 weeks, and now it's noticeable. I might look a little pot-bellied to strangers, but I am obviously pregnant to those who know me. And I still haven't gained any more weight.
Unlike your sis, though, I really haven't felt much movement. I THINK I feel things now and then, maybe once or twice a day, but I haven't had that moment yet where I am like, Oh yeah, that's baby. And I didn't start to get even those first kind-of movement until maybe 16 or 16.5 weeks.
No worries.
It varies a lot. Especially if you are fit and worked out regularly, it will probably take some extra time for the bump to pop out because it has to break through those ab muscles. The bump has to be pretty big to bust through. 2nd time moms show sooner bc their ab muscles have already been loosened up. Don't worry, your bump will come.
