Want to know what I hate?!

When someone tries to give me "wait til they..." advice!

I complain on FB or in emails about things that Hera is doing.  Everyone is like "wait until she does this" or "wait until she does that".  I just want to slap people and remind them that I have an almost 13 year old.  I should just fire back with "wait until your kid is a teenager!  The REAL fun starts then!"  "Wait until your kids decides that you're not cool anymore!"  "Wait until your kid is mortified to be seen with you in public!"  "Wait until your kid argues about everything"  "Wait until your kid questions everything that you tell them to do!"  "Wait until your kid stops listening to you!"

Yeah... wait until then!

    You totally should. People that "just wait..." me irritate the heck out of me. I may be a first time mom but I am not an idiot. I know things will change as he grows.

    Ugh I hate it too. Especially since I have a few friends with kids just a bit older.

    And really......I can wait. It's already going too quickly!

    I completely agree! i always have a b!tchy response for them. Even if it isn't directed towards me... i know sometimes it even crosses my mind to say it to some people, but I never ever do!

    Ugh, I hate that too! Especially when it's coming from someone that has a baby that is only 2 months older than mine.

    I imagine thats insanely annoying considering you already have an older child.

     

    But, I will say that its kinda what you get when you decide to through it out there on FB. Its one of the reasons I don't post things like that on FB. But thats just me.
