I've never been pregnant, but when I lurk on the pregnant boards, I often see them talking about similac checks or enfamil checks. Are these just coupons for a discount off these products? And how do you go about getting these coupons/checks? I went to the Similac website and it let me print a coupon for $3.00 off any Similar product but it has an expiration date of 11-06-10 so i doubt I will be using it.
Sorry if I sound ignorant. The only knowledge I have on babies are the clothes needed for a baby shower!
Re: Can someone explain the similac/enfamil checks to me?
TTC #1 since Oct 2006 with severe MFI.
Summer/Fall 2011 - DH on clomid. Helped with morphology and motility, but count still under 1 million.
February 2011 - First RE appointment to discuss options.
March 2011 - We aren't sure what we are going to do right now. DH isn't sure about DS.
~SAIFW~
History of IF and 2.5 years TTC. The day we were to start our first IUI we received a call that changed our lives forever and 10 month old Olivia joined our family. Shortly thereafter we got a surprise BFP and baby 2 is due July 5, 2012
I get them all the time. But my baby was born still, so we don't really need them. I managed to get my name off the mailing list, but even today we became Gold members of the Similac Strong Moms program, or at least my DH did because they won't acknowledge the emails I've sent to remove him from the list.
Normally I'd only mention my circumstance and experience with Similac's ignorance on the MC/PL board or the TTCAL board, but since you posted your question in the wrong place, I thought I would do the same.
Hi,
Yes they are coupons that you can use just like money. They saved me so much money when i had my dc 4 years ago (i am experiencing secondary if and that's why i come to this board). They used to send me $10-$20 coupons, they were awesome. But I don't think they send the big ones anymore I remember someone saying that. I think they are more like 1-5 bucks now. And i would swap them with friends too or on here.
Hope that helps!
good luck!
