Pregnant after a Loss

Yesterday's Team Green Bradley Birth!

It's a boy!  Simon Benjamin took about 14 hours to arrive, and is perfect and healthy.

Short story:

Water broke early morning before any contractions, and while I was still 0cm.  Pitocin became necessary after 12 hours, which I was not at all happy about at the time ( I was still only 1 cm, and since the water was broken, needed to move things along).  Within 2 more hours, he was here!  I was about to give up with the last few contractions and started begging for pain meds.  Luckily, before the anestesiologist could even get there to discuss options, they checked me again, I was 10 cm! Pushed for less than 15 minutes. A few stitches from a natural tear.

I'm all kinds of sore today, and didn't realize how, um, messy things would be the day after, only about 12 hours later. I'm on a total of about 2 hours of sleep, but can't stop staring at my little boy.  Thank you all for the well wishes, and will work on a full story in the coming days.

You ladies have been incredible over the last 9 months, and the 3 months before that on TTCAL.  I know I'm not the most active poster, but the support here is beyond amazing, and I wish every one of you every joy in the world.  To those of you ladies who are STILL on your final days, lots of progress dust, and I promise you it's worth every moment....
