I took DD to a pumpkin patch (Shaw Farms) in Milford last Saturday and she had a blast. Here's the address: 1737 State Route 131Milford, OH 45150, it's only 20 min from here and totally worth it. They had pumpkins, animals to look at, cute things to climb on, food, and apple cider! Yum!
I honestly dont get the hype about Irons fruit farm... We went last year and it was so picked over it wasnt even funny...and its not like we went late or anything (I think we went 2 weeks before halloween?) I love Shaw farms (we went 2 years ago) and this year we went to Blooms and Berries in Loveland and it was awesome! An 8.00 band for adults and a 6.00 band for kids gets you on the hayride (that takes you to a pumpkin patch) and both the corn maze and sunflower maze. They also have goats, cornhole, a giant slide, and the usual apple products

Ha ha, I thought Burger Farm was sort of lame compared to Shaw's, but like you, we went to Burger during the week. We've been to Shaw Farm every year for the last 3 years and Justin absolutely loves it. It's all free, except the hayride is $3. Kids 2 and under are free on the hayride. The hayride is awesome - it's 20 minutes long and beautiful!
I'd be up for a GTG assuming we are free when you want to go

Ha!!!
I don't understand why they only have them open on the weekends??? I can understand all day, every day in October would be a little much. But a couple days a week for all the SAHM/D's would be nice!

We like Iron's (it's about 5 minutes from our home, and the hayride is free). We also really liked Blooms n' Berries. I've also heard great things about Schappacher Farms in Mason. It's off 42.
Thanks ladies! Sounds like Shaw might be the place to try (on a weekend at least). I am sick today but hope to feel better this weekend (work antibiotics work!) when we were are hoping to take her.
I am going to see how I feel later today to see if we are still planning to make it this weekend.
We took DS to Shaw this afternoon. They're open during the week (until 7), and they were running hayrides all afternoon. We did not do the hayride, DS was done by the time we were going to do that... but we'll definitely do that next time.
The "playground" is set up all week, and he loved it. They had tons of pumpkins, etc.. and you can print a coupon online for a free "spooky pumpkin" with a $20 purchase. The "spooky pumpkin" is a small pumpkin (like the ones you get at the zoo, just a bit larger...)
