Girl names

DH and I have decided that if we have a boy he will be named after me in some way and if we have a girl, she will have same initials as her daddy. My DH's initials are K.E.P. I welcome any suggestions for girl names that start with a K.

I'm a teacher and let me just tell you that Kayla, Kailyn, Kaitlin, Kyla, Kylie, etc. are so overdone!

I love Katherine for a middle name, but for a first name it can be shortened to Katie, which I also like. Katherine Elizabeth perhaps? Or do you like names that are less traditional?

Well I second Katherine!

I like Keely, Kourtney, Kennedy, Kiersten or Kenzie for less traditional....along with Elizabeth for a middle name (it's mine!) good luck!

I teach too and in one class I have a Caleb, Kayla, Mckayla and Michaela. I would stay away from those types of names if you want something less common.

Are you looking for traditional? I might try the more contemporary feel and go with some thing pretty but unusual. They have alot of names on this site on the name board. I went through pages of it yesterday. Oh and I am not talking about the chat name board ::winks:: and

Too Funny! At Disneyland they wouldn't write Katie on my Mickey Ears bc they are told not to put nicknames on the hats. No matter what I said, they didn't believe that Katie was my name.

My Dad said he couldn't spell anything longer than Katie....thanks Dad!
