I haven't been able to stomach coffee all pregnancy. It smells *nasty* to me...and I loved coffee with cream before, and loved the smell of coffee even more. ?? Oh well. I do drink one glass of iced tea when I'm out to eat, which has caffeine.
I have had a few small glasses of wine in the 2nd tri and sips of DH's beer.
A possibility was born the day you were born and will live as long as you live.
..............................
#2. My hubs is a physician and said that the occasional glass of wine is going to have zero effect on the baby, its not even enough to get passed onto him/her. So I'm going with that, and I enjoy a glass every now and then still
a have a cup of tea every day at work in the morning. if i'm sluggish in the afternoon then half a cup of regular. every once in a while i'll get a small mocha frappe from mcdonalds, or a grande chai latte.
No to both, I can't take my migraine med anymore so I save the caffeine for that (if you drink it all the time it's less effective). Otherwise I would.
I have a cup of reg coffee or tea every morning and decaf the rest of the day.
i had 1 small glass of wine at about 13 weeks and it was so totally unappetizing that I haven't had one since....how I miss wine! I figured there is no point if I don't get the same enjoyment out of it.
I didn't drink coffee pp but I do have a pepsi or coke when going out to eat. I LOVE wine and drank a lot of it before I was pregnant but I just can't bring myself to drink any now, even though I know a small amount doesn't matter, I would feel guilty.
One big cup of coffee every morning. No wine yet. I am planning on having a celebratory glass after our 20 wk anatomy scan. I'm sure I will also have the occasional glass during the holidays too.
I also have one big cup of coffee in the mornings but no other caffine during the day. I haven't drank anything during this pregnancy but might indulge in a glass of wine with christmas and thanksgiving dinner.
I have caffeine pretty much every day. I cut it way down in 1st tri, but I need it nowadays to ward off the headaches. If it's not a coffee in the morning, it's a soda in the afternoon. And I always have coffee with DH on the weekends.
Yes, I will have a cup of coffee in the AM. With DS I had the occasional glass of wine towards the end of 2nd tri and during 3rd tri, but I'm not comfortable with having that yet this time.
I drink a small cup of decaf every morning, and sometimes 1/2 caf since my Dr. said some caffeine might help with the headaches. No wine though...going to have to ask her about that. If it's true it doesn't hurt the baby, I'll indulge with a small half glass every blue moon.
I didn't have caffeine 1st tri, but when I hit 2nd tri I started having any one of these per day: 1 cup of regular coffee, 1 tall Starbucks half-caf latte, or 1 cup half-caf coffee. Occasionally I have nothing or I have sweet tea and no coffee.
I have never drank any alcohol so that's something I don't miss.
I'm having a tall decaf misto from Starbucks about once a week. Occasionally in the evenings I'll have a few sips of DH's Coke. Once in a while I might have 1 or 2 squares of 70% Lindt dark chocolate.
No alcohol for me. I wasn't super into it before so, aside from an occasional craving for a margarita or a refreshing beer, I don't miss it too much.
I love coffee but as soon as I was preggo I stopped wanting coffee. So I've been staying away from caffeinated drinks as much as possible. And no more wine for me not until after breastfeeding.

I'm not a coffee drinker but I do have one (sometimes two) cans of Diet Dr. Pepper a day. It's my pick-me-up when the kids go down for their afternoon nap.
No alcohol for me. I've had one sip of beer since we decided to start trying. My husband, however, has taken up drinking for two.

I have coffee/caffeine on a regular basis. Now that I feel her kick, the caffeine is a lot more fun.
I had a large sip of my favorite "only in October" beer the other night. It tasted like a giant mouth orgasm, but I had indigestion and heartburn the rest of the night. IDK if it was related, but I'll wait.

"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind."
- Kurt Vonnegut
If I have coffee, it's one cup in the morning...and I mix regular and decaf. But I think one cup regular is more than fine. I've also had a glass of wine now and then. No prob.
i make a cup of coffee every day but after forgetting what room in the house i put it in and it getting ice cold - i would say i only drink about half of it. Ill lose a coke somewhere in the house every now and then too.
I am aching for an ice cold fall beer, but live in the south and they dont really have any good local ones so its not worth it I would probably only drink a few sips before getting distracted and it getting warm though.

I have half-caf coffee once or twice a week, and I drink caffeinated soda (usually between 12 and 20 oz.) every day. I've had about half a glass of wine since I've been pregnant.
Re: Dies anyone still drink coffee or have
I have one cup of coffee every morning with 2 vanilla creamers. Sorry No wine for me.
I have coffee sometimes Saturday mornings. Most times decaf.
Wine? No....
I have cup of 1/2 decaf with hazelnut creamer every morning. Tastes exactly the same as regular coffee.
Hubby won't let me even sip wine
I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I do drink caffeinated beverages - mostly to combat the nasty headaches I have been getting.
Wine - nope. I never really liked the taste of wine, and the smell of alcohol makes me nauseous right now

No, but I have FA absorption issues, so my RE took me off caffeine in April.
I'm staying away from the hooch for the whole pregnancy; no comment on those who don't, just my own personal comfort level.
