Success after IF

clueless: how long from crawling/pulling up to walking?

The girls learned to crawl around 7.5-8 months old and now pull up on everything and are starting to "walk" while holding onto the baby gate, etc.  They are getting the hang of their walker push toy things too.

Please tell me I have a long time before they start walking.  Like months and months?  I am not even close to ready for that.  ;)

How long after your kids started crawling and pulling up on things did they start walking?  (I know it differs from kid to kid.)

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • how exciting that they are cruising now!! :)

she was crawling at 6.5 months...pulling up and cruising at 7.5 months...and just started walking at a little over 11 months.

  • OK, so maybe 3+ months.  That would be awesome.  I am still trying to deal with two babies crawling... I can't imagine walking.

And oh, all the bumps and scrapes they are getting now... not a fan!

  • Paige learned how to crawl, pull up to stand, and cruise within a 1 week period.  It was when we were in Vegas for New Years!  I think she loves Vegas likes her momma.  She was 9 months old.

She started walking alone at 14 months.

  • DS started crawling at 8 months, pulling to stand at 9 months, cruising at 11 months, and walking at 15.5 months.  Good luck!  I am in awe of twin mommies during the learning to walk stage. (Well, really all the time, but especially during that stage! Smile)

  • James was very late, but he started pulling up at 10 months, stopped for several weeks after a bad ear infection, started again at 13 months, and then walked at almost 18 months. So depending on how you look at it it was either 5 months or 8 months (holy cow) between pulling up and walking.

  • K started crawling at 8 months and cruising at 9 months and she's not walking. She doesn't seem even remotely interested, either.
  • I hate to tell you this...but here goes...

Caroline started crawling on all 4s at 9 months...and then walking at a little shy of 10.5 months.

    It goes sooooo quickly...
