Anybody had a yeast infection while pregnant and your OB told you okay to use over the counter monistat? I hate to call the exchange for such a stupid question.

My doctor told me to use the 1-day Monistat when I've had one. I've had 2 now since becoming pregnant. I was always prone to yeast infections pre-pregnancy too. I think that you can't take that pill when your pregnant so they have you do over the counter cream which I hate.
Although I'd check with your doctor because your doctor could give you a compltetely different answer than what my doctor gave me.
I have used Diflucan a couple of times and Terazol 3 since being pregnant (both are Rx). My doc (a peri) gave them to me but my pharmacist didn't like it that I was taking the diflucan.
