Boob not responding as well to pump

WTF why is this happening? Thanks to some handy (hurrr, get it?) tips I used hand expression and got the last 1.5oz out that was still in my left boob.

This sucks! Am I going to have to do this four times a day, four days a week, for the next six frakking months?? Is there any way to make your body respond as well as it used to?

    I don't know, but I've had the same problem lately.  All of a sudden, I'm only getting about half of what I used to get.  I'm over it though, I've stressed too much over this BF sh*t.  DD is now past 6 months and I'm just telling myself that I'll give her whatever BM I can give her and whatever else she needs will come in the form of formula and solids.  Stressing over it was driving me crazy!

    I was gonna say change your membranes, that happens to me every now and again... plus is AF showing up soon? That may be the culprit

    I don't know about AF, I have the IUD. But I have been spotting a little bit. Oh no! Do I have my period now but just don't realize it due to the IUD?

    I am having such pumping issues right now.  I am eating a ton of oatmeal, drinking so much water, taking frenugreek.  Nothing is helping.  I'm trying not to stress, but I'm freaking a bit.  

    Replacing the valves and membranes is a great idea, thanks.

    Well, my supply is fine, it's not responding to the pump as well anymore. I got 7.5oz total, but the last 1.5oz I had to hand express. I felt like a cow!

    hahaha Oh okay now I get it, it may be the membranes then, when mine are worn I can sit and pump for almost an hour with milk still slowly coming out. And unfortunately for me I have to milk myself towards the end of my sessions so I am not gone for too long from work LOL so I feel ya

    Unfortunately for me, replacing the valves didn't help. I will sometimes pump less time and manually express, so it only takes a few minutes longer than normal. GL, hope replacing the valves helps for you!
