Hey,

Congrats on getting pregnant! Its awesome that were so close together. Isn't it amazing hearing the heartbeat after struggling for so long!!! Caperton told us that our next step was IVF. We decided we didn't want to do IVF when we only had a 70% chance of success. So, we started the adoption process. We're going to continue the adoption process but not until after our first baby is born. I guess relaxing and not thinking about our fertility issues helped. Sorry to ramble. :) I was wondering how you feel about Caperton? I really love him, but I'm starting to get frustrated how quick our ultrasounds have been. 2 weeks ago we waited 45 minutes in the ultrasound room, and when he came in he was there for under 10 minutes. I know he is busy, but we struggled so long to have a baby and I wish he would spend more time letting us see our baby and listen to the heartbeat. I would definitely recommend him to everyone I'm just getting annoyed and wanted to vent :) Do you know who you are going to see after Caperton? I think I'm going to try to see Caridi.

     I'm so sorry I hadn't gotten back to you...I'm new to the bump, and I would have thought it would email me when i received a message, but I just happened to notice your post to me. :)  Do you know if there is an easier way to send messages to each other and get notification of the responses?

    well, i'm so happy for you too.  we were also starting to think about adoption, but we hadn't started any process.   did Caperton know why you have had your miscarriages (if you don't mind me asking).  it sounds like it's going great now since you are 15 wks!  isn't it great being in the 2nd trimester?!

    well, no worries about the questions! actually, me and my husband have never really liked Caperton.  :( he has been somewhat rude at times.  it is hard because he is busy but we always felt rushed, and a lot of doctors (my obgyn included) don't make us feel that way.  i had to ask him to hear the heartbeat again because he barely turned it on.  that's crazy that you had to wait 45 min in the ultrasound room, I don't think we've ended up waiting that long, that is terrible!  I had talked to my gynecologist (she doesn't deliver though), and she had recommended Caperton, but since i have told her about the issues we didn't like, and she said she has had a ton of people tell her that he has been rude, and she is only going to refer people to Thompson (as she said he started the practice), instead.  It is hard having so few selections in ABQ!

    We chose Dr. Kelly Stuart w/ Pres Downtown as a referral from a friend.  we had our first appt w/ her 2 wks ago, and we really love her. i went with an obgyn because i was worried about being somewhat high risk, but she is very good.  Is you doctor with Pres or separate?

    I think the bump is so hard to communicate with someone privately and they don't make it very easy to figure out how to do. I just recently figured out who to do this.  At the end of someone's post, you can click on contact and send someone a private message. I dont think they actually get an email sent to their personal email, just on bump. In order to see the message, you have to scroll all the way down on the left it says check private messages. It's so hidden, you would think it would pop up for you when you log on but it doesn't.  Good Luck!
