need to get out of the house...any ideas??

i'm going stir crazy sitting around waiting for these contractions to get me somewhere (for the past 2.5 days)......any ideas of what I can do thats not too strenuous but get me out of the house.

Hmm...I would probably go to a bookstore to browse (or sit and read!). Or maybe the Humane Society/SPCA to look at the animals. Any stores are going to be busy since it's a weekend. Any friends nearby you could visit?

If you have a dog.... I just returned from the dog park with mine. I find it extremely entertaining to watch the dogs chase and wrestle each other, all while I sit there and do nothing. Plus my dog's worn out for the rest of the day.
I miss those pre-parenthood days when I could just leave the house and do whatever.......
We went to the aquarium today w/ DS b/c its rainy. Is there a museum or something like that you could do? Or just catch a matinee movie for me, because that is waht I wish I was doign right now instead of doing school work.
FYI...I went for a walk with DH and our dogs earlier today so that was out, but my Mom and Dad are down and we decided to go to Kohls and get a couple girl outfits and a couple of boy outfits for the baby. My Mom will return the necessary items next week after the baby is born.
Now I am tired and ready for a nap.
