FB: Learn to Spell Please

I'm about to make people take a spelling and grammar test before I agree to be their friends on FB. Here is my favorite from today.

"feels like a buys day. got up went to the bank then the story came home made breakfast. Washed clothes make lunch then got dinner in the oven cleaned the house and not on the computer for a min"

Smart phones have also killed the need to spell check: They auto correct everything!

smart phones also "autocorrect" wrong pretty often. I am embarrassed at my posts from my phone sometimes.

I too get embarrassed by the things that I post or text from my smart phone. There are certain things that aren't in the spell check and it corrects it to what it thinks it should be. My DH tried to send "Otay" to one of his friends and it auto-corrected it to Pray instead.

Or some random misspelled word gets changed to some really obscure foreign name or something... it's so random sometimes!

Exactly! The auto text on smart phones is not to smart! I look so stupid when I use that thing. It has made my spelling look worst than it already it!

That was like nails on a chalkboard! It took me a while to figure out what "buys day" was supposed to be. Also, why would someone have to post everything they did all day?

Ha ha! But that is still comprehensible at least. I read it so fast that I didn't even notice until I read again.

So my DH just called and made fun of me for using the word "hour" in my status update this morning instead of "house". Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

I must annoy the living *** out of you people! my keyboard sucks and misses some letters unless you smack them pretty hard, so often my posts are all mispelled. I dont take the time to spell check everything I type. especailly on FB and chat rooms
