Two Under 2

Anyone have a Baby Trend Sit N Stand?

Am trying to decide between the Sit N Stand Double and the Sit N Stand Plus.  If you have either, can you tell me if the car seat fits in the back?  I don't think DS will like sitting in the back...

Does the Graco car seat fit?

Also-- when you take the back seat out, does it fit in the basket under the stroller?

Re: Anyone have a Baby Trend Sit N Stand?

  • I have the sit n stand  double and I can't stand it anymore. It was nice and super convenient when my youngest was a newborn and my daughter was just 2, but now that my son is 1 and 28 lbs and my daughter is 35 lbs, steering is awful.  both of my canopies broke within the last year - customer support STINKS (stroller is just a year old).  A graco snugride fits perfect in either seat -- which was awesome about the stroller.  Also, as my daughter wants to walk more and my son is sitting in the front so she can have the 'jump seat' steering is horrible it pulls to one side.  I just bought a bob duallie aw -- I was so excited for the sit n stand and now feel like i wasted my money.

The jump seat does fit in the basket under the stroller.

PS: wanna buy a sit n stand double used, cheap Hmm jk

  • We have the double and I feel like we wasted our money too.  It's nice for outings like the zoo or out of town when we're walking a lot and need to have stuff packed. Other than that it's too big and heavy to lug around for everyday trips.  It's really hard to steer too so almost impossible to take to a store with small isles.  The basket underneath barely holds a diaper bag when DS1 is in the back and needs leg room.  I wouldn't recommend it.

  • I just got it, but I LOVE it - I can't believe a stroller can be this easy to steer and push.  I can see it being a hassle (i'm doubtful whether it will fit) when trying maneuver through tight aisles in macy's and what not, but I had a different kind of problem with the SnS - trying to make a turn around the clothes -- it was a lot like trying to make a K turn.
