Bottle question

Addison was sleeping in her swing, but woke up when I came home from the salon. I need to finish up my presentation (that I have to give in 2 hours), so I told DH it was okay to give her a bottle (of breastmilk). I'll pump before I go...

By the time I warmed the bottle up and brought it in to DH, she was sleeping again on his lap. Absolutely no interest in the bottle!

How long is that bottle good for sitting out at room temp? Or should I put it back in the fridge until she fusses again and really does want to eat? I don't want to waste a full 4 oz of breastmilk!! (FWIW, this breastmilk is fresh refrigerated, never frozen milk...pumped yesterday.)

And on another note, could this be the beginnings of the 3 month growth spurt? She's super sleepy and super hungry (yesterday -- ate 20 oz of bottled breast milk plus nursed twice).

If he's going to use the bottle in the next several hours, just leave it out. Putting milk back in the fridge that has been warmed does not work for me.

i know you're not supposed to put re-warmed BM back in the fridge. as PP said if you plan to give it to her in the next few hours leave it out but it wont keep, say, for tonight. I dont think anyway.
