Are you a clean freak?

DH thinks I have OCD about cleaning and I think I am average. I tidy up every day, do dishes 2x a day, sweep the floors 2x a day and once a week I deep clean. In that once a week cleaning I change sheets, sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, clean the bathrooms and clean the kitchen.

I don't think you are a freak of any nature. I do most of this. When you have a baby, 2 dogs, and hard wood floors you have to keep it clean. I don't want DD to have a dirty home to live in. DH agrees with me and helps out with the cleaning a lot because lets just say his parents house in bot clean ever. There are stacks of stuff everywhere and sometimes so bad that you can't see the floor.

i'm not as extreme as you, but i'm pretty bad. it drives h nuts. his mom never ever cleans their house, and it's disgusting, so he's not used to having to clean. i'm slowly training him.

Joking aside- I use to be a clean freak! After having Aidan and working full time (as does DH) I finally gave in and hired someone to clean once a week.

hmmm, kinda. like i feel if you don't have on gloves to clean your toilet (and you're not cleaning the outside, handle, etc) then you're NOT cleaning. i only have enough time to do maintenance during the week but i got crazy on the weekends or else it just drives me batty.

and folding clothes is sooo therapeutic for me LOL

If I had a huge house I would still have a housekeeper, but since it is small and takes me a few hours a week to clean I do it myself.

Also you love to fold laundry I hate it. I think we could work something out here!

I know he is huge! I am scared to move to 9-12 because they talk 1st birthdays there and that just scares me.

You can come fold my clothes anytime you want. I HATE folding clothes. I don't mind to sort, wash and dry the clothes but folding and putting away I wish someone would do it for me.

I would say I'm middle of the road here.

If I had time, I would totally be cleaning a lot more than I do now, but with DS I can't exactly vacuum, mop, laundry, dishes all in one day unless I get a bug up my butt to do it. Once he's not so dependent on me and is able to crawl or walk around, maybe he'll let me get some cleaning done.

I am a clean freak, yes, and I am pretty much doing what you are... so I think you are also a clean freak, and I love you for it haha... my DH thinks I am anut job too, but I just can't handle dust on baseboards or dishes in a sink. I don't judge others, I just like a clean house!
