Hi ladies.....popping in for a quick second to ask a question. The twins keep me so busy, I never have time to check in anymore. Hope you are all well....
Our babies don't technically have acid reflux, but are big time spitters. Luckily they are 'happy spitters'. But....this is difficult after feeding times, since we have to hold them upright for 20 minutes or so. Otherwise, as soon as we put them down, it comes right back up. We've had them sleeping in nap nannies up to this point, but are ready to transition them to cribs. I've heard of some parents elevating the mattress or tilting one end of the crib to help LO with reflux? Has anyone done this and how did you do it? One friend suggested wood blocks under one end of the crib. Another suggestion was to put 3ring binders under the head of the mattress to elevate it. Just wondering what worked for you and if it helped w/ LO's reflux.
Thanks!

Re: Tilting the crib/mattress for LO's with reflux?
When we were dealing with Elizabeth's reflux, we got a crib wedge from BRU. And it still comes in handy when E has a cold.
This is similar to the one we got:

ETA: we ended up putting it under the mattress. E's a belly sleeper and we weren't comfortable with her sleeping on the soft wedge itself, plus it moved around when it was just under the sheet. But seemed to work just fine under the mattress instead!
We had a bad time with AR and we used the wedge under the sheet and also books under one side of the crib. Because he slid down and would wake up we bought this:

It was a lifesaver for us and he used it until he was like 6 months. GL!
