Sharp pains in your...vajayjay?!

Is anyone having some weird, sharp pains that seem to radiate into your lady bits? I can't describe what I'm feeling as cramps. It's definitely kind of almost an electric shock kind of feeling that feels like it goes right into my vag. It's been going on and off all morning since I got in the shower. It's not particularly painful, but it's definitely noticeable.

I'm assuming this is just from things growing and moving around in there, but it's definitely weird. I'm not spotting or anything so that's good, but I'm a little on edge, wondering if I should call my doctor or wait a while to see if it goes away.

I have heard this referred to as "lightning crotch" and yes, I have felt it. Unpleasant.

I have heard it may have something to do with the baby hitting the cervix.

Wait, so this is totally common? I'd heard of "lighting crotch" before but I thought it only hit women in their 3rd trimesters because the baby gets so heavy!!!

this is what I just read. I guess there has got to be exceptions since so many of us have it. Mine is mainly when I'm driving for some reason...

yes! and it made me nervous because i had only heard of it in the 3rd trimester. i finally googled it yesterday and it seems like other women have the same feeling.

all i keep thinking is "electric slide" - it's ELECTRIC! lol

I think our version in 1st tri and the 3rd tri version are different. Same general feeling but for different reasons. I think it's in 3rd tri where it's more caused by the baby hitting your cervix. They are way too small to be doing anything now.
