Throwing in the towel

DS was 6 months yesterday and I've decided to start weaning. My supply has slowly tanked since going back to work and I'm tied to the pump for 4 hrs/day now. If I could just BF, I think maybe I'd be in better shape. ((sigh))  Anyway, kind of a sad day today b/c I treasure our BF time and hope I can keep up the morning and night feeds. I have to admit, though, that I feel a little bit free today, not having to pump for hours on end. Now if anyone's seen AF, please show her the way back home.

    Six months is great!  I know it is so hard to keep up with breastfeeding if you work full time. Six months was my original goal, and I have only kept going because I am home 6 out of 7 days a week and don't have to pump.  Pumping is the worst, so I completely understand your frustration with it.  You've done a great thing for your little boy!

    ditto this!!! and when I quit pumping we continued the am/pm nursing just fine..hopefully it works out for you too!!!
