I miss DH's helpful phase

Yes ladies, it definitely was a phase and not a whole new and improved DH. haha He was so helpful when we came home that I couldn't believe he was the same dude. He literally did anything and everything that I asked him to.

Now he's getting trained to travel to jobsites and do installs for work and his hours in the office also changed, so he's so busy with that (Plus he's still trying to figure out his blood thinner medicine levels from his blood clot incident a few weeks ago so he's been going to the doc twice a week...)  He barely has time to eat and take a shower, let alone help me out...

I wish he was a better time budgeter because I know he could help out a tad more, but it's ok I guess. He'll be earning so much more when he starts traveling that I can't complain.

Re: I miss DH's helpful phase

  • Ask fhim for help. Guys love to help. DH works a lot (he owns his own business and he is a workaholic- sometimes 7 days a week.) But he always tries to help me (unless he is super tired because he worked from 7:00 am to 11:00pm).

He feels guilty for not helping me more or not spending more time with Logan but he has to wotk (i stay at home).

Obviously your DH won't be able to help you as much as before because it sounds like his new job is more demandinbut keep in mind that sometimes he wont be able to help you. Ask him for help or give him more responsability (DH always takes care of Logan in the morning on the weekends and lets me sleep in.
