It's the worst at night & I've found I can only nibble on a few things for "dinner" or I'm miserable...on the verge of puking (or actually do) and can't go to sleep.
I totally feel your pain. I have found soups and salads in the evenings to be helpful - things that are very easily digested.
One of my friends who just had a baby told me this week that liquid Mylanta was her saving grace during her pregnancy. I have been taking Maalox occasionally, which helps, but I wouldn't call it a saving grace. I'm planning to try the liquid Mylanta next.
However, mostly I just try to modify my diet as necessary. On the bad days, I stick with soups, juices, things that require almost no digestion. On the better days I am able to eat small-medium amounts of the foods I like. I would say the acid reflux/heartburn/indigestion is worse than any nausea I experienced and I was pretty nauseous for a while.

Yes, I would totally agree! Thanks for the feedback...it's a bummer that we still have to change up our diets even more w/ pregnancy...I thought I would be able to eat whatever I wanted (Ok, not really....) lol
Hm, I'll ask my doc to step it up for me when I see her next week. lol Thanks for the tip!
No prob. I think my nausea is def. related to the heartburn/reflux. I just realized that my nausea was gone pretty much the past couple weeks and the heartburn wasn't as bad. All of a sudden they both came back with a vengeance. I thought she might have said protonix is OTC now, but she wrote a script, so I'm not sure. Regardless, I'm picking it up today so fingers crossed!!!

I used to have terrible acid reflux (before I was pregnant) and read that if you eat apples, the pectin helps with the reflux. It worked for me and even now all I do is have a glass of apple juice in the evening (Plus one in the morning with breakfast) and I have not had a problem since.
Ughh feeling your pain. Rolaids like crazy and still doesn't really work. Water, milk, juice .. everything gives me heartburn. I'm hopeful it's subsides .. but I'm doubting it.
Re: This indigestion & heartburn is killing me.
I still ate, but just lived on Tums. I hope you feel better.
