DS is all over the place lately. He is a crawling machine and his new favorite thing is to pull himself up on the couch or anything he can. He is holding himself in a standing position longer each day.
DH & I are looking to get him a good set of walking shoes. We realize he may not full on walk for a few more months, but with him pulling himself up like he has, we want to be prepared.
Thanks for any recommendations!!

Re: Recommend LO's walking shoes
Katie started cruising around 9 months but was really hesitant to let go. At her 1 year appointment, the pediatrician suggested getting some shoes that were higher around the ankles (up to that point she'd been in Robeez-style soft soled shoes). So we went to Stride Rite and got a pair of shoes and she was walking on her own within a week.
So if you want to encourage him to walk, I'd suggest something like this: https://www.zappos.com/stride-rite-srt-elliot-infant-toddler-brown
I also highly recommend ordering from Zappos. They ship from just south of Louisville so you will get them within a couple of days. They also have fabulous customer service. I had a problem with a pair of shoes I'd ordered for K and they overnighted me a replacement pair without me even sending the ones I had back, and told me to donate the original ones to charity (the stitching was coming out after she'd worn them 3 times and I didn't keep the shoebox to send them back in). Plus they have free return shipping.
Thanks for the info ladies!
Just wanting to know what to get when the time comes!
