Little back ground on this one... We did the Ferber method with great results right after the he hit 4 months with Dr blessing. (sleep has been awful since the get go) A few nights after we started he went down at 7, and slept until 2am. Awesome.
However, we've hit a new rolling over milestone. Now the second we lay him down in his crib on his back, he immediately rolls onto his belly. I'm ok with him sleeping like this because his head control is fine. However, he's just recently started screaming while trying to roll back onto his belly. His arms are splayed out to the side, so it really looks like he's going to injure his shoulder while pushing in the opposite direction with his legs. If we help him roll over, he immediately rolls onto his belly again.
Obviously this is making nap time complete torture. If we roll him, he rolls back. If we just rub his back while keeping him on his belly, he just screams til he's exhausted and falls asleep.
Has anyone had experience with this? Pointers? Suggestions? Anything?
