Exersaucer

We are trying to find as many activities as possible to keep Reese off of her back.  At what age can we start using the exersaucer?

    I thought that they could use it at 3 months, but C still can't sit in it by herself.  It's so frustrating because she loves it, but I have to hold her in with one hand while I show her the different things with my other hand.  She has had such good head control since a very early age, but she just isn't big enough yet to keep herself upright.

    I think they say around 3 months.  Maybe it is 4 months?  Anyway, I would try it and see what happens.  I had K in there around 3.5 months.  As long as she can hold her head up and she can hold herself steady, I would this it is fine.

    stick her in it!!!  smash some blankets in around her to keep her from wobbling, stuff a pillow under her feet to make her touch the ground.

    also use a wrap or sling rather than putting her down if possible.

    oh, and, my friend noticed a huge difference when she switched the placement of LO/s carseat from one side to the other (if you don't have it in the middle)

    Great idea!  I can't believe that I didn't think of positioning C with blankets!  I have a super tall little girl (she doesn't get it from me!) so no need for the pillow underneath.
