Set up appt. for Nov. 13 to find out sex of my LO.... We are doing a 4D(how exciting!!!) I will be 15w6d. Is this too early to see anything??? Share your experiences.....
Someone said they were able to tell at 12 weeks during their u/s b/c the baby was in the perfect position....this could totally be a myth though, lol. Either way good luck and enjoy the view of your little one!
I had a 3D/4D us with my 1st at 13 weeks. We were told it was a boy, but at the 18 week us they told us it was a girl. And girl was right! 13 weeks was definitely too soon. Hopefully 15 weeks would be more accurate. Good luck!
The longer you wait, the more accurate the results. I agree with the poster that said your baby will look creepy... no fat yet to give him a "normal" baby shape. If you want to pay that money, go for it...personally I would wait til later on.
Just asked a similar question and then looked up studies. One study said that at 14 weeks it is 98% correct but that girls are more often mistaken for boys than vice versa. At 16 weeks I would think you'll be able to tell if the baby cooperates. GL

Why do you need so many tickers!? You do realize they are all counting down to the same day, right?

If I remember correctly , I think there is a hormone surge around 16 weeks that causes girls to look like it might be a boy due to swelling. The longer you wait, the more accurate the result will be.
I have been doing sonograms for years now. Though it is possible to see the gender of the baby at 15w6d I would recommend waiting till 18-22 wks for optimal images and a more definite answer. I personally enjoy the 20-22wk imaging sessions more. They are so much cuter looking then.
I love you. Seriously, that is a TON of tickers. I know you love your baby but that is over board...
Anyways, OP, I think you may be able to tell if you baby works with you and you have a good u/s tech, but is there a reason you scheduled so early, I would personally push it out another couple of weeks to be sure.

but all the tickers say different thiiiiiings. And I liiiiiiiiike them. I like looking at them.
In fact, I post just to gaze at my own tickers. They fascinate me!
Some of you are such B words. For real.
I like your tickers! IT'S A MAGICAL TIME and lots of tickers just make me increasingly happy for you!
Also, be careful with your red meat intake. It is so hormone laden that your u/s might show girl at 15w6d and then BAM! a boy comes out. HTH.
i found this helpful for you

also, maybe wait a little longer. its not that easy to tell at 15 weeks. i certainly wouldnt paint the room pink or blue based on this.
id save a 4D for 20weeks at min.
I fail.
