Lupron Injections
Ok, Im thinking I can handle these, been taking them 4 nights and so far I've had a headache everyday and my stomach has been upset, definately not so bad.......Next on the list will be Gonal F.......what have been your experiences once you start this injection??

I'm doing Lupron and Gonal F right now - I only took the Lupron one day before starting the Gonal F but have heard ladies on the IF board say the Lupron SE's lessen when you start the Gonal F. I've been really nauseous but not until my estradial #'s started skyrocketing. I don't feel great in general - don't know if its the SE from the meds or just the fact that I'm responding really well and uncomfortable.

Lupron's SE's are supposed to lessen when you start FSH (Gonal F), but in my case it got much, much worse. I always had a dull headache on Lupron. The first 2-3 days of stimming I thought my head was going to split in half. It was the worst headache I have ever had in my life. The ony thing that made me feel a little better was coffee, but that was only for a few minutes. I layed in bed with a pillow over my head in the dark the entire time. I had just quit my job, but if I was working there is no way I would have been able to function. It was pretty craptastic.
I think some do fine with it, and others have much worse SE than I did. So I am sure you'll be fine. Best of luck with this cycle!
I did follistim instead of GonalF, but I think its the same thing....
By itself, I didn't have any side effects, except for the ones from overstimulating (cramping mostly). I preferred follistim over everything else that I've been on, that's for sure.
