Any one have any unique decoration ideas and game ideas for a princess themed shower? I've read a few things about having tiera's as some of the directortions.

I think a princess shower is a fabulous idea! "The little princess is on the way" kinda theme. I bet you can find princess decorations in party stores - pink and silver would be beautiful. I think a good place to start would be the invitations - that usually set the theme/tone for the party.

and I would look for decorations that match the colors of the invite or play on those colors. BTW, love those baby shower invites from Baby Cachet.
I made star-shaped sugar cookies, frosted them and put glitter sprinkles on top, and then put wooden skewers in the bottom of each one to make "princess wands" for my daughter's 3rd birthday. Pics here:

I love this idea! Did you just stick the skewer in the bottom of the cookie. I guess this doesn't mess them up right?
