My tumors are benign!

Pregnancy and I do not get along.  Besides pre-e and other issues, I guess my hormones went wacky in my saliva glands.  I started getting bumps on either side of my neck.  They would last about 2 weeks and disappear.  While in the hospital giving birth they appeared again but my OB said not to worry.

Well, they didn't go away and got huge.  I went to an ENT specialist last week and had a biopsy done.  I got the results today and all is ok!

Unfortunately, the saliva glands still need to be removed through 2 general surgeries (they do one side at a time).  She said even though it's not cancer, if left as is, it could turn into it because the mass is still there.  So I will have to make arrangements to have someone help dh out with the kids while I have the surgeries.  Hopefully, it won't be a long recovery - I go to the surgeon this week to get the details.

Sorry so long- I'm just sooo relieved.  Even though I knew statistically, the odds were in my favor, all sorts of crazy stuff runs through your head when waiting for results!

3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again
