Set up appt. for Nov. 13 to find out sex of my LO.... We are doing a 4D(how exciting!!Big Smile!) I will be 15w6d. Is this too early to see anything??? Share your experiences..... Im listening

it's not too early to see anything. You'll see a small baby.

But 4d's aren't great at that age. Your baby still looks very weird. I would wait a couple of weeks at the very least.

For keepsake 3d/4d they say 28-34 weeks is best. The baby has fat and looks like a fully developed baby.

At 15 it still looks weird and alien like.

We were impatient and did a 3d/4d at 14w4d and found out the gender...and it was correct (confirmed at our anatomy)! If he/she cooperates, you should be able to tell by then. Good luck!

Because you didn't the exact answer you wanted? Obviously you didn't want to hear that it could be wrong, which it really could be, if you'd wait 2-3 weeks, you'd have a more definite answer.

Um, this was actually pretty tame. Stick around for a while, you'll see. On top of that, they're right. We had someone over here just the other day crying that the gender prediction they got on their NT scan was wrong and they had gotten their hopes up. I would wait. Seriously, the weeks fly by anyway.

Call them and ask them just how accurate the scan is at that point, and if they will put it in writing. If they can't, perhaps wait only about 3 or 4 more weeks, there will be no grey area, and it may be worth your while to get a better pic of a more complete baby. As PP said, the weeks start to fly by at this point, and it will be here before you know it.

I was told not to do a 3d until at least 28 weeks because it won't really look like a real baby. I think gender is actually more easy to determine with 2d.... JMO
