My boss used to be an L&D nurse and keep saying that a c-section is just 6 weeks off, my dr said it can be 6-8 weeks. When I had my last baby, 17 years ago, a c-section got 8 weeks off.
What are most of you getting as time off for a c-section? I'm not talking about FMLA time that you take, I'm checking on time your dr writes you off for medical leave / nescessity after delivery.....
TIA for the feedback!
Re: C-section moms, length of maternity leave?
In Texas I believe that it's up to your employer. You aren't supposed to go back until your doctor clears you, in my case, my appointment wasn't scheduled until 8 weeks postpartum.
