We have mandatory flu & H1N1 shots at work, so I don't even need to debate whether or not I will get one (if I want to keep my job, that is!)
I have been doing a little reading about whether the flu shot is totally safe during the first trimester. I was scheduled to get the shot at work on Thursday, just shy of 11weeks. I decided to call my OB to find out what he thought. I just got a call back from his nurse, and my OB is recommending to wait until after 12/13 weeks to get the flu shot. His words were "you and the baby will be much safer"
So -- question of the day... when are you getting your flu shot??

Re: NOT debating flu shot... but when? A poll
I am going to try and push it back until at least 2nd tri!! After having a m/c last time, I won't even take tylenol for a headache. I don't want anything that the OBGYN didn't approve first.
That being said, I go to OBGYN Nov 3rd and I'll be around 14 weeks, we'll see what she says then, maybe she'll give it to me!
