Why finding out we're pregnant this month would be great..

Obviously finding out we're expecting ANY month would be amazing, but I am REALLY hoping this is our month. October is a month I DO NOT LIKE! My Mom passed away five years ago on October 24th and this month has so many bad memories. I would love to have something happy happen to make October a better month.
ALSO, that would mean a July baby which would be SO great because the majority of my family was born in July...seriously, my Mom, two nephews, my BIL and SIL and my niece is on August 1st and DH is on August 3rd. We always are together for one big birthday celebration so it would be amazing to add out LO's birtday to the list.

I'm so sorry about your loss.
I would love to get KU this cycle and have a summer baby!
Of course I will welcome a baby whenever I get KU and be estatic, but how awesome would it be to have maternity leave during the summer!!
Also, my sister is getting married next Fall and I really don't to have a baby too close to her wedding.

I feel like it'd be a perfect Christmas surprise to be able to tell the grandmas and grandpas.
Or I would also like to find out in June or July so as to be able to give them a Grandparents' Day card in September and them all be like, "... wait. Whaaaat?"
My FIL and SMIL keep hinting that another grand baby would be the PERFECT christmas gift. LOL. So we'd tell them on christmas.
I really want a summer baby. I hated having DS at the height of flu season. Not pleasant at all. DS would be a great age to become a big brother!
I'm soo sorry about your loss.
It would be great for us because the baby would be born around DD's b-day and our anniversary. I also loved having a summer baby.
I hope this is "the month" for a lot of us here
It would be the best Christmas gift to tell the family we are expecting! What a great memory.
ALSO, my very best friend is getting married next Oct. so having the baby in July would be ideal!

Well its our first month TTC and I am a very impatient person, SO, it would be nice to get it out right away lol.

I read this idea somewhere and I LOVE it, we were thinking of doing this for DH's family. For my family, we have a whole other plan. My sister used to pass out the presents on Christmas Eve and then the first year she had her daughter, she made this huge speech and said that she was passing the job on to me (which I had been begging to do since I was little). SO, now that my niece is 13, and she has been begging me to get the job, I would make a similar speech and say that this is the last year that I will be passing out the presents and everyone would figure it out! FUN! GL!

Besides that I would actually be pregnant?
I could finish off the school year with my job. I'd have the whole summer of mat leave left with my BFF before she would need to go back to work after her mat leave, my MIL could come stay with us and help take care of the baby cause she works at a school too, I'd have a baby before I turned 27 and while DH was 30, I'd have a summer baby like me and we would have conceived close to DH 30th birthday.
I could probably think of a lot more.
A few reasons:
My mom was made in Japan. We're living in Japan until December 17th (DH is here on business for 3 months), so we'd love to say our 2nd LO was made in Japan, just like MayMay.
I'd really like to have a summer baby, anytime in the summer would be great for me. My bday is July 24 and DH's bday is Aug 15. Can you imagine 3 Leos in the same household?? Yikes!
My mom is a teacher and has the summer off and because DH works a ton of late hours, it would be really nice to have her able to help more.
And last, to share the news with everyone once we arrive back to the States, just in time for Christmas!

My very best friend's birthday is the 24th AND...my Dad, my sister, my brother and myself all married Leos! That's right, my Mom, BIL, SIL and DH-all Leos! Crazy huh? Apparently we love Leos in my household. GL!

This. Although, I think that dream is dead. I'm sort of hoping that the fact that getting KU during the next two months would make for dreadful timing (giving birth Aug/Sept and being out at the beginning of the school year) will cause some sort of vortex in my ute that will get me KU. I don't give a sh!t about the timing anymore.

1. I could still give my parents and in-laws the cute Granpa/Grandma stuff I already bought for them for Christmas!
2. And, it would mean that, aside from the first doctor's appt., most of the pregnancy would be in one year, which is great for me as my HSA year starts January 1. (But, this scenario still applies to the next 4 or 5 cycles.)
Getting pregnant this month would mean an end of July baby which is perfect since it is my last chance this year. (I teach college and taking off a semester for a fall baby would not be a good thing) DS was born in July so we could do big birthday celebrations with both kids.
July might be better than June though since I was on bed rest for 6 weeks with DS and that could happen again, (wouldn't be good during the spring semester)
Also if we get KU this cycle I can probably test on our anniversary in November (depends on when I O)
Where are you living in Japan? My little brother lives there as well. He is in Ogaki which is a bit north of Nagoya. I went to visit him this past spring and absolutely loved it! Enjoy the rest of your time there!

This month would be perfect for us because we initially planned on trying for our 3rd in October and hoped to have another baby just before our oldest starts kindergarten.
In January we were surprised to find out we were expecting again and it was another boy. We were so thrilled. We lost our son at 18 weeks to a chromosome disorder. We got pregnant again in July and had a m/c.
It has been a really rough year. It seems like a lifetime ago that we initially talked about ttc in October. But it would be nice to get pg this month and kind of get things back on track.
