Toddlers: 24 Months+

Alright fellow mommas...I need help!

So- I went Halloween costume shopping for DS. He has his little heart set on being a dinosaur. (loves Dinosaur Train, Ice Age3, Stomps around the house, roars, ect) Plus he is obsessed with having a tail- cute. I couldn't find a dang thing, and I went to every halloween store in Wichita. There is a dinosaur that is super cute but my guy has a long torso and needs an XL. So I found ONE XL on CostumeCraze.com. Ordered is saturday and put my zip in wrong so my order was not processed. Called them this morning and they are now OUT of XL's in any dino costume!!! I've been searching the net all morning and can't find anything. Any secrets that you ladies know of???

Here is the dinosaur that i found. ( I'd really like to steer clear of the "cheesy" ones)

No answer to your question, but I'm in Wichita too!! What side of town are you on? (you can email me if you don't want this public graciewk@gmail.com)

Oh wait, have you tried the Halloween store at Central & Tyler where Hollywood Video used to be? I haven't been in there, but it may be worth a shot!

  • Hey there! I'm on the NorthWest side. Around 25th and Amidon. You?  We did try (I think it's called Spirit Halloween)  They have cool decorations, but as far as kids costumes, there isn't a lot to choose from. I'm really bummed about this dinosaur thing....Im not sure what i'm gonna do yet, maybe shove him into a smaller one :)

  • Most Halloween costumes seem to run big, at least the ones I have bought for DD and my niece.  My DD is on the smaller side at 33 inches but last year we were able to squeeze her into a ladybug 0-6 month costume.  I do like the one you linked and Celebrate express has awesome customer service.  I have bought party stuff and costumes from there.  Good luck!

That's so funny. My best friend lives at 27th and Amidon - right behind DeFazio's (sp). I'm over there every now and then! I'm further west at Central and Maize.

I'm guessing you've checked all the big retail stores (Walmart, Kmart, Target...). What about Party City? A friend of mine ordered a really cute dinosaur costume off ebay. Maybe check there.
