visiting from 1st tri...does Similac still give away diaper bag in the hospital

When I had DS, I got a diaper bag with a bottle bag and 2 ice packs.   I loved the bottle bag and ice packs.   I was an EPer and they were great for carrying BM when we were out.    Plus DS is a big milk drinker so it comes in handy when we're going out and I need to keep some milk cold for him.   

I'm 5 weeks PG with #2 and hoping that they still give this diaper bag away.   My bottle bag is in rough shape!

    Yes, but it depends on if the hospital you deliver at carries it. We got the enfamil one but from our OB office, so I didn't ask at the hospital.

    Mine offered a choice between a "breastfeeding bag" or a "formula feeding bag"- I EBF so I chose the first one. It was reusable green style bag and it did come with a insulated bottle holder- which I love already! This bag was different than the one I had with my first DD 2 years ago even though I delivered at the same hospital.

    My 2 girls, both born on a Friday the 13th, are exactly 2 years, 2 months, 2 hours and 2 minutes apart! And Baby Boy joined us October 11, 2013! image

    I got a black sling style backpack from my hospital. It had a can of formula but with the recall they gave me the premade stuff instead. It did come with the black bottle bag and ice packs. That was my favorite part of the bag- I use it all the time to carry my BM in while we're out and about.

    My hospital had given them out when I had DD (2008) but by this go around had quit. I asked fi they had them and the nurse said they no longer give them out because they want to push breastfeeding instead of formula.

    I got 2 bags given to me. One from Similac, one from Enfamil, one did have an insulated bottle holder /ice pack in it. I'm thinking it was the SImilac one. The other pack was a sling back pack and I use that thing all the time as my "toned down" diaper bag. I tend to overpack.

    I got both the Similac and Enfamil bags from the hospital I delivered at.  And I love the bottle bag too!

    I got a bfing bag and a formula bag. both shoulder backpack style...

    thanks ladies.   Hopefully my hospital still gives it out.   I really want that bottle bag and those ice packs again!   They were the perfect size!

    this word for word. the sample they gave was of the recalled batch. i EBF so i didn't care but i LOVE the ice packs and insulated bag.
