What made you go public?   I have kept a blog since I was pregnant but I don't really tell anybody about it or anything. My DH knows and my sister in law checks it, but I don't think anybody else does.

Anybody not go public for a reason and keeps it kind of private like mine?

    Mine is public but I don't really ever tell anyone about it.  It's just there for a place for me to document things and just get things out sometimes.  I don't know if anyone even reads it, but if it helps another mom then great!

    I do it because, being a SAHM, it gives me an outlet of "adult talk" during the day!

    Mine started super small and I didn't tell anyone about it.  And then some of my friends wanted the link and it sort of expanded from there.

    I keep our last name and where we work/live etc private... but everything else is just me talking about random things. =)

    We have family that live overseas and interstate and keeping a blog is a fantastic way for them to watch Eva grow. It makes them feel like they aren't missing out on everything. I also love reading other baby/family blogs and it is a great way to be part of a community. 

    That being said, I am very careful about what I share because it is public. No last names, no talk about careers and especially no specifics about where we live.

    Mine started out as a way to document my pregnancy and to keep friends and family spread across the country in the know. Its now a way for them to be updated on our life as a family of 3 and for me to talk about whatever may be going on in our lives at the time. I, like pp, keep all personal information private. I love doing it and have enjoyed starting to read/follow fellow baby and family bloggers

    Mine is public and I have about 30 followers. Some people I know and some I don't. You wont find my last name or where I work on it. I like when people read it and comment. Give me an outlet and lets me AW my DD all I want.

    It's my therapy. I am very much a shut-in because of anxiety and paranoia issues and by having made my blog public it is helping me come out of my shell and be public irl as well. I also decided to make it public because I kinda hope it can give courage to other women on here to get help or at the very least know that they aren't alone.
