best gifts for a 2 year old?
I'm starting to think of what to get Abby for her bday and christmas!
So far, we want to get her a tricycle (she rode one at toys r us and LOVED it) an easel and a slide for outside. What else do your kids love? She won't get many gifts between now and next Christmas/3rd bday, so I want to get her a few things that she'll grow into as well.
What do your kids absolutely LOVE??

She also likes her Little Tykes Cozy Coupe. She's really gotten into playing "pretend" also - dollhouse, little people stuff, etc. And play doh is a big favorite so we have a lot of the sets - the ice cream shop, burger thing, etc. That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure there's more.
she has a tiny kitchen, but we're getting the two of them a kitchen for christmas they can share when sarah gets a bit bigger. abby loves it!
i would love to get her playdoh, but she hates it! she doesn't like getting dirty- she freaks out when playdoh gets on her hands lol

I think an easel will be great for when they are 2.5-3 years old. Evan got one for his bday and at this point he is too little. He sits for 5 seconds and then drags the chair all over the house and uses it as a step stool. lol Yet, i still think it's great. A play mickey labtop was a huge success. It's meant for 3 and over but it entertains him in spurts like you wouldn't believe. They have many Vtech labtops to cater to boys/girls and it is educationally-sound. And is Abby into music? Evan has a music station toy that he loves; of course also used as a stepstool, but anything music helps train there little ears.
And hands on...have you tried one of those play do machines where you put the playdo in and it comes out in different shapes? E likes that.He also loves a stamp set grandma got him. They also sell the stamps and ink separately so you can choose girly ones. If I think of anything else will let you know.

Niece/Nephew adore their easel! Niece got her kitchen at age 2 and played w/ it for yrs.
How about dress up pack... with a few of the princess outfits. Perfect for both kids to enjoy for a few yrs.

I was going to suggest one of those dress up trunks too -- and both girls will get use out of it.
What about a little kids tea set (there's some really cute cloth ones on etsy). A doll house or one of those "my size" houses for the backyard -- not sure what the actual name is. Puzzles. Leap Frog (or that other brand) games. Baby dolls with the little bassinet and stroller (PBK has one).
