2ww ladies...did you drink this w/end?

So we went bowling with a few friends this weekend and had a couple of beers. I am testing this week if AF doesn't show. I'm going to try to hold out til Friday but I don't know if I can wait that long. I feel guilty but I've heard that a baby doesn't share blood with it's mother until 6 wks. Still hard not to feel guilty though.

Anyone else drink during their 2ww? I just want to know that I'm not alone Confused

Yep I think I had a couple glassed of wine a couple times this past weekend:) And if I get my period this week then some friends and I have a winery trip planned for this coming up friday.

I do. I don't get hammered or anything, but I will have a glass of wine with dinner or whatever. If I get a BFP, I'll stop...if I don't I will feel stupid for worrying for 2 weeks and not living my life. This is what I am comfortable with. I'm sure plenty of others will disagree. It's a completely personal choice.

I personally don't, but I am not much of a drinker anyways. I know a lot of ladies go by the motto "drink till it's pink" though so you are definitely not alone.

I did - we were at a wedding this weekend and while I could have said I had liquor in my glass I did some research and saw that IF I'm pg that it would be too early to have the alcohol do anything to the baby. I should start this week so if I don't, temps are still up, etc. I'm taking a test on Friday!

So, no, you're not alone! I was feeling guilty too but I reminded myself of my research...

I had a glass of wine while out to dinner on Saturday... but I'm not much of a drinker. I did tell DH not to get me another on though. Because I'm not much of a drinker 2 glasses and I'm loopy Embarrassed

Drinking during your 2WW is not going to hurt anything. I drank during my 2WW (occasionally) when TTC my son, and as you can see, everything was fine.

This time, I have had a glass of wine so far, but do plan to drink at my friend's bachelorette party this weekend.

No. I almost opened a bottle of champaign and then realized what I was doing so I didn't haha. I know a drink or two won't hurt but I LOVE strawberry champaign and I can get pretty tipsy quickly off of that yummy bubbly goodness =P

yes, I did, & I don't regret it. Its perfectly fine, I assure you. I wouldn't go about getting trashed or anything, but a couple of drinks is fine. If anything, it eases the 2WW craziness.

I drank. I drank an entire bottle of vino on Saturday. I have a lot of guilt right now... especially since I had a mc a couple of months ago. Not much I can do now, I'm just eating lots of heathy veggies and drinking TONS of water this week to compensate.

It's perfectly fine to drink until you get a bfp, though!

I did, I had read a few prior threads about this and felt confident that it was okay to drink until its pink. I didn't get too crazy, but did have a couple glasses of wine and a beer on Saturday night. I feel okay about my decision. I won't be able to test until Friday at the absolute earliest so I may have a glass of wine this week, as well.

Really, it's looking good?!!? Since it's my first real chart I wasn't sure if it was looking good or not. If AF comes (*crossing fingers she doesn't*) on Wednesday then I plan to test on Friday. Not sure if I can hold out long enough though!!

I did. I didn't want to but was at a work conference that consisted of dinner with wine, late nights of cocktails and early morning meetings. I thought about not drinking during this 2WW but then that will get everyone in my industry talking, "Why isn't Leslie drinking, is she pregnant?"

So I indulged a little bit.

I don't drink during my 2ww....from what I understand there's nothing wrong if you do....I just personally choose not to. However, if AF arrives, I will be opening a big fat bottle of wine...
