It's been a while since I've been to The Bump...between work, moving into a new home and remodeling it, and getting ready for the baby, I feel like the past few months have completely flown by.
I can't believe that our little one will be here in two days! I was scheduled to be induced Tuesday morning, but it looks like we're going to go ahead and do a c-section that afternoon. The doctor is afraid that the baby is just too big (I blame my husband...he was a Buddha baby!) and I will probably end up with a c-section anyway. I'm scared, anxious, and excited all at the same time, but I think this is the best decision for the both of us.
My heart also goes out to Tiffany and her family, who I read about when I came back to the board. I don't know her personally, nor do I know many of you, but I know everyone who has a child (or will soon have one) feels a sense of loss when something like this happens.
All the people on this board seem like such caring people, I hope one day to be able to meet you all in person and have my little Darcy play with your little ones!
Wish us luck!
Re: As the big day draws nearer...
Good luck with your c-section. There are quite a few of us on here that have had one, so if you have any questions, concerns, etc don't hesitate to ask.
Be sure to update when you get a chance after she is born and post a picture
Good luck!
I had a scheduled c-section too for several reasons, including DD's size. It was the perfect birth experience (for me). I hope that yours goes just as smoothly! Make sure you start walking/moving around as soon as they will let you - I really think that made a difference. Only a few more days until you get to hold your little one! Best of luck
