Is this affecting how much/little you feel baby's movement? I felt some flutters/bubbles last week but haven't yet this week much (I don't think). Sniff.

Yes, both are anterior placenta's in my case. I felt very light flutters in the beginning but it wasn't until I hit the 20th week that I was able to feel a very soft kick from one of them. Now its often but not extreme kicks or punches as others feel.
I have an anterior placenta. I felt *nothing* - no flutters/bubbles/whatever - until about 19 weeks. Around 19w, I started feeling definite KICKS - and I've felt them every day since then.
Everyone is different though. 17w is fairly early to feel movement, especially given that you have an anterior placenta. Don't stress.

Not anymore. I start feeling movement at 16 weeks but it was on the edges of my stomach. By 19 weeks I was feeling her all over but it was still more subtle in the front.
I started feeling little flutters around 18 w, then nothing until around 23w. recently( as in like two nights ago!) I could feel him from the outside and Ican *somewhat* get his schedule... mornings (early) and nights(Late).
But...as Hyfagal said, I cannot really feel him in the front, at all. I only feel him on the edges.
Yes, I've had one with both of my pregnancies. I've been feeling movement since about 15 weeks but it wasn't until recently that I could feel movement everyday. At 23 weeks I can feel movement everyday but it's always in the same spot (really low) and it's usually only when I'm laying down. It was between 23 - 24 weeks last time that I felt any movement at all.

i didn't feel anything at all until 20 weeks, when she apparently decided to make her presence known and punch for everything she's worth. i never felt her inside, but starting last week i feel little flutters where her feet are, and solid smacks where her head/hands are.
Ive had 2- this pregnancy and my first. I didn't feel older daughter at all until after 20 weeks. I've been feeling this one exactly the same amount and starting at the same time (16w) as my second pregnancy, which was a posterior placenta. So in my case, placenta placement has nothing to do with fetal movement at all, although I could definitely feel #2 and #3 much earlier than #1.
ETA: At every u/s I've ever had with all 3 babies, the u/s techs have commented on how "busy" my babies are, so maybe that has something to do with it. I feel baby Emma pretty much constantly.
Re: anyone else have an anterior placenta?
:::raises hand:::
this is my 2nd one.
I just started feeling flutters 2 nights ago - but nothing last night.
with #1 I didn't feel flutters until 22w. And outside feeling kicks until 24w.

Yes, but its probably how far along you are too.
I didn't feel #1 consistently until after 18 weeks. And I JUST started feeling regular movements yesterday with this one (anterior).?

Now I feel her pretty strongly everywhere.
