I'm getting kind of sad - board related

As of tomorrow, my little buddy will be ONE.

Aside from the "it went so fast" thoughts, I was looking over at the Toddler boards, and they throw them all into the same board for a full year. 

I understand that there aren't as many major changes going on as there were in the 1st year, but while I haven't posted as much as some, I've looked at this place as kind of a place to commisserate with people whose kids are on the same page as mine.

With the big age difference on that toddler board, I'm sure it'll just be natural for people to not post as much.  That makes me kind of sad.

    Just stay here! Everyone will eventually be over on 12-24, so chill out here until your LO is 2! LOL!

    I haven't been lurking over on the 12-24 board, so I don't know if this is true, but I would think it would make it more interesting. There are so many more topics to be covered when there is a larger span of time, I'm looking forward to it. With the baby boards divided into every three months, the topics tend to stay the same. Not that I don't enjoy the ladies on this board, but there is only so much birthday talk that I can take!

    I have such bitter-sweet first birthday feelings. I'm excited that he is approaching toddlerhood. I've had a good dose of infancy for now. But, I don't want time to pass too quickly. I want him to stay under 5!

     

    The 12-24 board will be bigger and the "small circle" of 9-12 will be no longer. That makes me kinda sad too.

    There are actually a ton of toddlers over there in the 12-15 month range.  I really enjoy the 12-24 month board.

    I'm still over here even though DD turned one a couple weeks ago. I think I relate a bit better over here still since DD is so small and still doing more of what 9-12mos babies are. She has no teeth, isn't walking yet etc. I will start lurking over there soon though.
