So we are low on funds this week so I am on a grocery store strike.I am determine to use what we have.
Tonight: Green chili soup and burgers for the kids
Monday: I am making a chicken casserole with pasta and peppers. It is a PW recipe so we'll see if we like it
Tues: Pasta with peppers, chard, and sausages
Wed: Homemade veggie soup and grilled cheese
Thursday: Breakfast for dinner eggs, leftover pancakes from yesterday's breakfast, bacon
Fri.: payday so we are going out!
Re: ***Weekly Menu***
nothing too exciting since we have 2 activities a week (I don't know how parents do this, I'm counting down the days until they're over!) and I'm going out one night.
Sun: turkey burgers and sweet potato fries
Mon: soup and sandwiches
Tues: breaded chicken legs and squash
Wed: soup and salad
Thurs: breakfast for dinner
Fri: sweet and sour meatballs and noodles.
We have activities two days a week and that is only for the oldest. Lots of sandwiches and leftovers. We cook on the weekend to try to have leftovers for the week. God help me when the youngest starts his activities too.
We have activities 2 days a week, and Saturday afternoons. It stinks
I use my crockpot A LOT! As you can probably tell from this week's menu:
Monday: Egg sandwichs with bacon and fruit
Tuesday: Leftover meatball soup, grilled cheese sandwiches
Wednesday: Crockpot fajitas with spanish rice
Thursday: Crockpot breakfast potatoes with sausage and fruit
Friday: Steaks, baked poatoes, veggies of some sort
Satuday: Crockpot brown sugar chicken with rice and a veggie
Sunday: Meatloaf, green beans, mashed potatoes
