Took away paci now won't STTN :(

We finally took away the pacifier while Bennett sleeps, but now he wakes up crying sometime between 4 and 6 every morning. Should we just let him cry it out?

  • I wouldn't/couldn't do it, but I probably wouldn't run right in either...I'd give it  a couple of minutes and see if he stops on his own.

  • I took the paci away almost 2 weeks ago.   He cried for about 40 minutes the first night when he first went to bed.  Didn't wake up though during the night (well he did once or twice, but then went back to sleep).    But his naps have gone to sh-it lately (but I can't blame the paci- since when I caved and tried to give it back, thinking that was the reason for the nap issue, he handed it right back to me).

I'd let him cry for a little while.
