is the state fair worth going to?

i havent been since 3 years ago. with a 10 month old, is it really worth it this year? i wanted to go last year because i was craving a funnel cake (ah. the joys of pregnancy haha) but i didnt end up going. i wouldnt mind going this year, but it seems costly for only an hour or two.

  • Nic was 8 months last year and I don't think it was worth it.  But I get in for free.  So we just ate and left after about 1.5 hours.  This year I think Nic is going to have a blast and I'm looking forward to the kiddie rides and the food.

  • It can be a lot of fun! We went last year with Caleb, he was around 7 months old. He had a good time, there is a lot to look at and a lot of fun photo ops! She can look at the animals and maybe try a little bit of food. Caleb had samples of yogurt last year, and some NC State Ice Cream! You can go on Thursday, it is Food Lion Hunger Relief Day. I think it costs 3 or 4 cans/boxes of Food Lion brand food to get in, that would save you some $$.
